The Process

We all have certain dreams, not matter how wild. Some seem unachievable but yet we do our best to pursue it. On the process of achieving it we face hurdles, a lot of hurdles which is unique to all. We cannot explain to someone the great lengths we went to pursue it because some understand while some don’t!
All our dreams are though mainly targeted towards a better standard of living, getting what we want, fulfilling the dreams of our loved ones, traveling the unknown places and what not! We are the goal oriented generation. From the beginning we are taught to focus on what we want, to concentrate – that is how we can achieve it. But don’t you think it’s the process involved in achieving it that holds more value?
Yes, it is the hardship filled with great puns that sums up the gist of it. When we look back at our journey, we always remember the process we went through and not the reward we got because it is what actually matters.
Love the process and not the destination.
You go into school/college to learn but its not the degree that gives you much pleasure (realistically speaking) its the journey, the people involved, the internships you did, the laugh you had, the mockery you did together, the fun you had, the various food joints you went to, the bad experiences you encountered, the emotional roller coaster you went through, the difficult exam you passed, the deep conversation you had in Metro, the philosophical quotes you said, the drinks you had together, the unity which made you get closer, the indecent jokes you confidently crack and lots more!
In this materialistic world, we are so engrossed in the have-nots that we overlook what we have. We have peace, we have everything. We won’t remember the accurate marks we got, but how we got it.
The process is a beautiful journey itself and I believe that it is what actually matters in the long run.
